(1)     Section 56 of the Transport Act 1962 (functions of Central Committee and consultative committees) is amended as follows.

(2)     In subsection (4)—

(a)     for the words from “duty†to “consider†substitute “duty of the Rail Passengers' Council and each Rail Passengers' Committee to considerâ€,
