176  Payment of expenses of official and courtesy visits, etc

(1)ÌýÌýÌýÌý Subject to subsection (2) below, a local authority may—

(a)ÌýÌýÌýÌý defray any travelling or other expenses reasonably incurred by or on behalf of any members in making official and courtesy visits, whether inside or outside the United Kingdom,
