Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (c 56)

In section 69(1) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (interpretation), in the definition of “local authorityâ€, for the words from “or a joint authority†to the end substitute “, a joint authority established by Part 4 of the Local Government Act 1985, an economic prosperity board established under section 88 of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 or a combined authority established under section 103 of that Act;â€.

In section 11(4)(a) of the Trustee Investments Act 1961 (local authority investment schemes), after “Local Government Act 1985,†insert “an economic prosperity board established under section 88 of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009, a combined authority established under section 103 of that Act,â€.
