107  Dissolution of a combined authority's area

(1)     The Secretary of State may by order—

(a)     dissolve a combined authority's area, and

(b)     abolish the combined authority for that area.

(2)     An order may be made under this section [only if—

(a)     a majority] of the councils to whom this subsection applies consent to the making of the order[, and

(b)     in the case of an order made in respect of a mayoral combined authority, the mayor
