102  Transitional provisions

(1)     The provisions of [Chapter I] of this Part have effect in place of Part VIII of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (grants towards cost of improvements and repairs, &c).

(2)     Subject as follows, the provisions of that Part continue to apply to applications for grant of the descriptions mentioned in section 101 of that Act made before the commencement of this
