(1)聽聽聽聽 In this group of sections鈥

[(za)聽聽聽聽 adoption agency鈥 means鈥

(i)聽聽聽聽 a local authority in England,

(ii)聽聽聽聽 a registered adoption society whose principal office is in England,]

(a)聽聽聽聽 鈥渙rganisation鈥 includes a public body and a private or voluntary organisation,

(b)聽聽聽聽 鈥減rescribed鈥 means prescribed by [regulations],

(c)聽聽聽聽 鈥渢he register鈥 means the Adoption and Children
