The upper age limit for jurors was increased from 70–75 by section 68 of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 (CJCA 2015), which makes amendments to JA 1974, ss 1(1)(a) and 3(1). From 9 September 2016, jurors between the ages of 70 and 75 can be identified for jury service and with effect from 1 December
