What does Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service mean?

This body provides administrative support in Scotland for courts, judges and tribunals.

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) is the successor to the Scottish Court Service, having been renamed by Courts Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, s 130. It is chaired by the Lord President. The bodies serviced by SCTS are listed in Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008, s 62.
