What does Rental mean?

The rental of copies of copyright work to the public is an act restricted by the copyright.

The rental of a copyright work is the making a copy of the work available for use, on terms that it will or may be returned, for direct or indirect economic or commercial advantage. Where a payment does not go beyond what is necessary to cover the operating costs of the establishment, there is no direct or indirect economic or commercial advantage for these purposes. Equipment hire agreements may also be referred to as equipment leases, equipment rental, operating leases or finance leases. Real estate finance lenders will typically want to take a full security package over all of the assets relating to the real estate. Is planning permission required for a shepherd's hut on land or for general camping in the summer for someone's own personal enjoyment? Whether or not planning permission is required for a shepherd’s hut will depend on the construction, location and use of the hut. Section 57 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (TCPA 1990) provides that, subject to a few exceptions, planning permission is required for the carrying out of any development of land.
