    The following sum is prescribed by the Employment Rights Act 1996 s 124(1), (1ZA) as amended by SI 2013/1949 and by SI 2016/288:
Maximum compensatory award payable under s 117(1) or (2) or s 123:
the lower of £78,962 (£78,335) and 52 multiplied by a week’s pay (which is not capped) of the person concerned.
