Jamaica

The National Housing Trust (NHT) is governed by the National Housing Trust Act 1979, which can be accessed via the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) website. The NHT is a statutory body which aims to increase and enhance the stock of available housing in Jamaica and providing financial assistance to those who wish to build, buy, or repair their homes.

Statutory contributions are due from contributors, who are:

  1. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý employees

  2. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý employers

  3. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý self-employed persons, and

  4. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý voluntary contributors
