Explanatory notes for users

1. Delivery and risk

‘Free Alongside Ship’ means that the seller delivers the goods to the buyer

    when the goods are placed alongside the ship (eg on a quay or a barge)

  2. •

    nominated by the buyer

  3. •

    at the named port of shipment

  4. •

    or when the seller procures goods already so
