What does Religion or belief discrimination mean?

The concept that it is unlawful for an individual to discriminate against another on the grounds of his religion or belief.

The concept of religion or belief discrimination is set out as a statutory right in the Equality Act 2010. This Act makes it unlawful for an individual to discriminate against another on the grounds of his religion or belief (whether directly or indirectly), or to victimise or harass him on the grounds of his religion or belief.
