This interactive session will cover the key skills and practical tips needed to become a Non-Executive Director. We will be joined by Jerry Harris to share his insights and experience. After 10 years with KPMG Jerry spent the rest of his full time career as a senior board member at major recruitment business including PSD, Quarry Dougal and as Managing Director of Reed Employment for 6 years. Since 2007 he has held multiple NED/Board Adviser positions at various SMEs including Flex Legal. He has also been a board member/adviser at four major UK legal recruiters.
The panel speakers will include Sarah Pierman who is CEO of Dynamic Boards as well as Martin Gunson who has more than 30 years鈥� experience of property and related finance markets and who has undertaken many NED roles.

Sarah Pierman

See More →Sarah is a non-executive director with experience on the boards of a specialist bank, a banking software company, a home care franchise operator and a charity. After graduating from studying Maths at Oxford University, she began her career in banking and became a Director in RBS鈥檚 SME lending team age 25. She has been working in tech start-ups for the last seven years. In 2013 she won the Professional Woman of the Future award and in 2019 she was shortlisted for the Sunday Times 鈥楴ED rising star鈥�.
